About
A beach of fine, coal-black volcanic sand on the west coast, a short way from the Los Gigantes cliffs. The Atlantic is livelier here – take the waves and the backwash seriously. There are lifeguards, showers and sunbeds, and at sunset the whole sky lights up behind La Gomera.
Our tip
Combine it with a trip to the Los Gigantes cliffs (5 minutes by car) and, in the evening, find a seat on the promenade for the sunset.
