About
A fishermen's restaurant by the old jetty in Alcalá – the name means ‘old jetty’. You choose your fish from the display and eat looking out over the ocean and the little harbour. Alcalá is a quiet village with a promenade that mass tourism hasn't yet reached.
Our tip
Combine lunch with a swim in the Alcalá natural pools a few steps from the restaurant – water shoes come in handy.
What to order
The catch of the day from the display, big clams and prawns, and paella served in the pan right at your table; the mussel broth also gets good reviews.
