Along the country lane of Camino Los Gómez above La Orotava, there are several guachinches within less than a kilometre – family wine houses where home cooking is served alongside their own wine. Los Gómez is the best known: long wooden tables, views over the Orotava valley and wine from the surrounding vineyards. Rustic, homely, with generous portions.
