About

The seat of the municipality that includes Los Cristianos and Playa de las Américas, yet with an entirely different pace: white houses with wooden balconies, a square with the church of San Antonio Abad and hardly any tourists. It sits at around 600 m, beneath the table mountain of Roque del Conde.

Our tip

Combine it with the Roque del Conde hike (starting from the neighbouring hamlet of Vento) or with a drive up to Teide via La Escalona and Vilaflor.
