About

The gorge above the old town of Adeje is a protected nature reserve with a daily cap on visitor numbers. The path winds past cacti and old water channels into an ever narrower, greener gorge, ending at a waterfall. A helmet, handed out at the entrance, must be worn the whole time.

Our tip

It's 15 minutes from Ponderosa, but parking in Adeje's steep streets is tricky – arrive early or take a taxi. Check in 15 minutes before your slot; children under 5 are not allowed.
