About

A guachinche is traditionally a seasonal, family-run wine house in the north of Tenerife: the winemaker opens up their home or cellar, sells their own young wine and cooks a few home-made dishes to go with it. La Huerta de Ana y Eva is one of the best-rated on the island (nearly 8,700 reviews averaging 4.6). Ana and Eva started out in 2010, and over time the guachinche has grown into a year-round venue with a big courtyard – but the home cooking and the prices have stayed the same.
