About
A viewpoint over the whole La Orotava valley – green slopes covered in banana plantations, the towns of La Orotava and Puerto de la Cruz by the sea, and Teide above them all. It's named after the naturalist Alexander von Humboldt, who was captivated by the valley when he visited the island in 1799.
Our tip
It's close to the TF-5 motorway, making it an ideal quick stop on the way between La Orotava, Puerto de la Cruz and La Laguna.
