A popular restaurant serving traditional Canarian food in an old Canarian house in central Santa Cruz, near the Plaza de España. You can sit inside or out; it's busy and noisy – just the way locals like it. A great stop while exploring the capital.
Our tip
Book ahead. In the morning, call in at the Mercado de Nuestra Señora de África market (about 5–10 minutes' walk) – the tapas stalls, such as Bokanka (4.6 on Google), are great for a mid-morning bite.
