About

A botanical garden with one of the largest palm collections in Europe, created on the site of a former city rubbish tip by the sea. Twelve hectares of hilly parkland with ponds, a waterfall and views of the city are home to hundreds of palm species from tropical islands around the world.

Our tip

Combine it with a walk to the nearby Auditorio and along the seafront. A hat and water are essential – most of the grounds are in full sun.
