About
A remote hamlet in Anaga where people still live in homes carved into the rock – from outside, all you see are white façades and doors set into the cliff. The PR-TF 10.1 trail from the village of Las Carboneras follows a ridge with views of the Roque de Taborno rock tower and deep ravines; just beyond the hamlet is the Aguaide viewpoint above the Punta del Hidalgo coast.
Our tip
A narrow road also leads to Chinamada, but it's far nicer to arrive on foot from Las Carboneras. Bring water and snacks, and in mist stay on the waymarked path.
