About
The easiest way into the Anaga laurel forest. By the Cruz del Carmen viewpoint, which looks out over La Laguna and Teide, stands the park's visitor centre and the start of the Sendero de los Sentidos – short nature trails (the longest is 1.2 km) where you get to know the forest through touch, smell and sound. One of them leads to the wooden Llano de los Loros viewpoint.
Our tip
The car park fills up fast and La Laguna council is installing barriers with a parking time limit – arrive by 10:00. Five minutes from here is the Pico del Inglés viewpoint (4.7 on Google), with views of both coasts.
