About

A no-nonsense village bar-restaurant in the mountain hamlet of Cruz de Tea, above Granadilla. They serve honest Canarian home cooking in big portions, at prices you won't find on the coast. It's mostly locals, so expect simple surroundings and staff who speak only a little English.

Our tip

An ideal stop on the way back from Teide via Vilaflor – the restaurants inside the national park score only 3.0–3.6 on Google; here you'll eat better and for less.

What to order

Chicharrones with gofio, ropa vieja, grilled meat (carne asada) and fried cheese with blueberry jam, washed down with house wine.

Owner’s note
„Cheap, home-style restaurant in the mountains"
