About
A long beach of black sand and rocks beneath the green slopes of Anaga, popular with local surfers. The waves here are strong and the currents treacherous, so only swim near the lifeguard in the summer season and when the green flag is flying. There are no facilities on the beach – bars and fish restaurants are a little further on, at Roque de las Bodegas.
Our tip
The road through Anaga is winding and parking is limited; at weekends, access to the beaches is closed when the car park is full, so arrive early.
